Hi, my name is Sondra Bauer. I live in Petrolia and am a caregiver for my beautiful Momma.
I was motivated to create My Adventure Buddy because, in the last few years, I’ve noticed a lot of people, including myself, talking about wanting to do something but haven’t or don’t because they don’t want to go alone, their spouse may not be interested, or they are worried about being judged.
Regardless of the reasons, life should be enjoyed as much as possible, so if having an Adventure Buddy will help you finally do that thing you’ve always wanted to, let’s start planning.
I love meeting new people, trying new things, being adventurous, laughing, learning and making the most of life.
Whether you want to attend an event, explore somewhere new, visit a museum or try a restaurant, don’t miss out because your spouse won’t go or because you don’t want to go alone.

Who chooses what we do?
You do. You are hiring me to accompany you for an activity or experience you would like to enjoy. I may ask questions or offer practical suggestions, but the adventure begins with your idea.
Is this a dating or escort service?
No. My Adventure Buddy is a strictly platonic companionship service. It is not a dating, escort, counselling, medical or personal-care service. Romantic or sexual requests are not accepted.
Can we travel?
Under some circumstances. It depends on the destination, timing, safety, accessibility and advance planning required.
How are tickets, meals and other expenses handled?
Any activity-related expenses will be discussed and agreed upon before the booking is confirmed. No tickets or other non-refundable purchases will be made until payment arrangements are in place.
Where do meetings take place?
The meeting location is arranged when making plans.
What areas do you serve?
My Adventure Buddy is based in Petrolia and serves Sarnia-Lambton and surrounding areas. Other locations may be considered by arrangement.
What happens if someone cancels?
Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be confirmed before booking. Any non-refundable tickets, reservations or other costs purchased specifically for the outing must be paid in advance and are not refundable if the client cancels.
